DU Album of the Day: "There Goes Rhymin' Simon" Paul Simon

Was this really only his second solo album? Of course, by this point in his career, Paul Simon had spent more time in the studio and working at writing songs than some musicians do in a lifetime. When I listen to Prolific Paul, particularly his work in the 1970s, I'm usually thinking of autumn or winter, but this is a summer album, for sure.

Now 70, Simon continues to write, record and perform. This ground-breaking artist is worth a listen anytime, but if you haven't put this disc on for a while, now seems a pretty good time to reacquaint yourself.
