I'm a carpenter and don't know a damn thing about these new fangled computer things but don't want to use
my wifes email account in certain situations.
I know, I know, I should have kept up with the changes but hell, I can't even cut and paste.

(10,573 posts)Is go to yahoo.com and set up an email account. Then be sure to use that address whenever you shop online or fill out an online survey. Email addresses get shared, so the spam will proliferate quickly. But it's not a problem if you have it all go to that account (I call it my "commercial" account, and I never use it for personal mail).
The only trick with Yahoo that I know of is that you will need to log in once a month or so to keep it active. I do that, and just bulk delete every few weeks.
Hope this helps!

Also to OP, gmail. they have pretty good filters and other things and can even check other accounts for you so you only have to go to one place.
I've got 5 different addresses being aggregated in gmail and each one has a different color label so I know at a glance which account the email is for...

(12,272 posts)First, you click down on the left button/clicker and swipe along the text you want to copy. It will then be highlighted in blue.
You next click the right button while over the blue highlighted text and you will get a pop up menu. Click on the line of the pop up menu, with the left button, that says "copy".
Now go to the page you want to paste the text, click the right button again and you will get the pop up menu, select "paste" and voila, there is your copied text.
