Republicans Ruin My Day...Again.

I live in a blue area. The suburbs of Philadelphia. Township called Lower Merion. Town of Narberth (We call ourselves Narbs, hence my DU username.) Its a beautifully blue area. Hillary and Bernie signs a'plenty this early on. So how did I end up working with so many repukes? On one side I've got his tRump supporter who keeps trying to convince me to be an islamaphobe. Then theres a Kasich supporter (don't let that fool you. Hes an even bigger asshole) He doesn't present any reason as to why I'm wrong when we "debate" he just tells me to "Get my head out of my ass." Then the icing on the cake. The day ruiner. A girl I work with who I'll admit I kind of had a crush on, is also a tRump supporter.

By mutual agreement, we generally don't discuss politics. Well, except on election days when I politely remind them not to vote.

never have had to deal with people like that before (not even when it comes to a few moderate Republican classmates of mine). If I were you, I wouldn't even try arguing with people as classless as them anymore, especially if you're being told to "get your head out your ass." It's a waste of time and energy. Also about the Trump supporter who you have a crush on, a relationship with her could work out if she's cordial and is not already part of the "get your head out your ass" crowd. But the 2 of you should never discuss politics together. I can understand a bit of hesitation to be with someone who supports a known Islamophobe/racist/sexist/xenophobe/etc. for president, though.

I know I might be being unfair, but its hard to have a crush on someone when all you can think of when you look at them is this.

I'll live. There's plenty of nice non-repukes around here. It's supposed to be a blue area after all.
