The female bald eagle at the Hays nest laid an egg either late last night or early this morning before the camera came on at 7:00 AM. We were not expecting to see an egg this early.

is 6 feet wide. it says on the page the nests are generally 6 to 8 feet and can weigh up to ONE TON. OMG.
