(82,849 posts)Perhaps in Boise people are a little chary about putting Clinton or Sanders stickers on their cars, but those stickers are making a political statement nevertheless.

(7,499 posts)a few decades ago in Topeka, KS. For some context, at the time my mom and I were at each others' throats continually. We could not be around each other any length of time without getting into it. She used to screech at me "I can't reach you!" and I'd come back with "That's because you're always wrong!"
Anyhow, I was stopped at a traffic light and saw a bumper sticker in front of me that said:
"You're ugly and your mother dresses funny."
It was a great moment. I still laugh about it all these years later.

(31,404 posts)My favorite is a DUMP TRUMP sticker on a car in my neighborhood. Quite a few Bernie stickers. I've seen one Hillary sticker (in the neighborhood).
