And I spent 4 months leading a project handing out Vet Center flyers at theaters showing the movie in Northern Virginia and logged a lot of time doing that personally.

of eligibility, but from what I've heard, 'Platoon' did a good job of presently some of the "moral ambiguity" faced by a soldier...

movie series.

I think my favorite (going back a ways) was his role in 'Platoon' (1986 - but well worth seeing) where he was nominated for an Academy Award.

he was Jesus in The Last Temptation of Christ. He had some really good movies from the mid 80s through the late 90s. Agreed - he's always enjoyable to watch
