I'm embarrassed...... I watched "The People vs. O.J. Simpson" last night

I really wasn't going to. I still feel like it's too soon. I worked nights at that time and I watched the entire trial on tv. (I'm in L.A. too, so it was a local story too).

Anyway I tuned in just to see it for a minute.... ended up watching the whole episode.

John Travolta plays lawyer Robert Shapiro. I think he's awful.
Cuba Gooding Jr. plays O.J. Simpson. I think he's awful.
Sarah Paulson plays Marcia Clark. she is terrible. such overacting. (and I really like her in american horror story)
David Schwimmer as Robert Kardashian. need I comment?

anyone else care to admit to watching this?

3. I can't. After reading the Goldman family's reaction, I won't watch it...

Out of this whole debacle, the ones I really feel badly for and always will are the Goldmans, OJ's kids and the Brown family. The rest are just part of the circus and their regrets come along with their allowing the celebrity aspects of the whole affair to consume the trial (and drive the mistakes).

I see that Cuba Gooding JR has suggested CTE affects OJ... In doing so, I have to wonder if he is offering this up as an excuse or even an explanation. While it is certainly possible that OJ has CTE or other mental issue to offer that up as an excuse is offensive to me.

I was kind of obsessed with watching the OJ trial.

I thought Travolta was terrible but the rest was really good, I thought. Paulson is fantastic.

Who wants to relive that travesty?

It was a complete circus, should have been open-and-shut, but the distractions and the drama overwhelmed the actual evidence.

11. Yep, if the cops hadn't've tried to frame a guilty man, it definitely would have been open-and-shut.

I love me some good overacting so I might tune in just for that.

Bad dialogue. Bad acting. Bad direction. Bad casting. Bad hair and makeup.

The dogs were good.

and could not escape the continuing reporting.

We were watching network news at 6:30 local time, when it switched to that "slow chase.."

This was also a time when an interesting new program started: Murder One. And it has the same TV "image" of the real thing that I was not sure what I was watching.
