2. Did you mean to be going that fast, or did your accelerator get stuck?

Glad to see you're still alive, Mr. S.

94 Dearborn west is 70 and 75ish is normal. Allen Park police patrol 94 west of 39, and 39 north of 94. Watch out for them!
94 West of 24 has several state police hiding spots. It's not worth it.
94 West of 69 has seen 100 in spots -- no one there many days.

96 normal is 80 at 6AM, 90 at 5AM

696 normal is 90 day in and day out. The people up there have too much money to pay tickets.

Our state police do not mess around. Very professional folk.

Romulus lost court battles with their over patrolling. Eureka south end of airport is now 55mph. Used to 45 on that divided 4-lane less used highway.

Above all...
Be safe out there.

A while back I worked in Grand Rapids. I needed a flight home and they triple the prices during Spring Break so I planned to fly out of Detroit. I asked a coworker how long to plan for to drive the 147 miles. I was told about 90 minutes.

Yet, north of 696, 96 is both identification and apparent speed limit. 90 minutes. You'd be landing at the airport.
