NHL All-star game

At 5:00 I turned on the game and it was "metro" versus "atlantic" and I have no idea what that means. It used to be one conference against the other, and then it was North America versus Europe/Eastern Europe.

90 minutes later, I'm watching a game that is in the first period (???????) and it's Pacific versus Central.

WTF???????

Each game is 3-on-3, with 3 ten minute periods.

Atlantic and Metropolitan are divisions in the Eastern conference, and they played each other first, now the Central and Pacific division of the Western Conference are playing.

The winners of each of those games play each other in the final game.

I like what they've done with it. Historically, the All Star game can be kinda boring. This is fun to watch.

The last game is east vs. west, so that will be the most important.

Not sure how many all stars there are. The only thing I don't like about this is that the all stars on the eliminated teams have to sit out the last game.
