I just downloaded the most PATHETIC of TCHAIKOVSKY's Pathetique Symphony

I thought I was being original by pairing it with the 1812 Overture. But this pathetic version is really pathetic. Oh, well, there's always another YouTube and RealPlayer.

on the new San Francisco Opera House. I took a break and wandered Down to the wings of the stage. The S.F. Synphony was practicing Chopin's symphony #1. It happens to be one of my favorites. When they finished, I stepped out of the wing and applauded. Now, you've got to understand, I was wearing dirty overalls, work boots, a hard hat etc. The conductor glared at me. I told them that it was fantastic (even though the pianist made a few errors" and that "even though I may loose my job for taking time off work to listen to them, I really enjoyed it. A private performance by the S.F. Symphony? How could you not enjoy it? I got a standing O from the S.F. Symphony.

One of those moments in life.
