Game of Thrones fans: What will happen next to Reek and Sansa?

Oddly, this storyline intrigues me the most because Martin is apt to kill off anyone, and after Sansa has suffered so much, you just hope she will rise from the ashes stronger than ever.

That might be why the rumor is that Sansa will come back as Lady Stoneheart.

I still think it's far more likely they simply chose to die rather than subject themselves to any more of Ramsey. Which is pretty sensible, all things considered.

But if you know something I don't, I don't want to know.

it is less sad, for example, than a loving, trusting 10 year old girl being burnt at the stake by her own parents as an offering to a false god, for nothing more than ambitions to power.

I kept hoping that Theon/Reek would kill Ramsay or something, but in my heart I knew it was a long shot, because this is George RR Martin.

They're dead. But I think that's actually a pretty decent victory over Ramsay. I think Ramsay is going to start coming undone over it.

Theon/Reek and Jeyne Poole survive the fall and escape to the woods, only to be captured by Stannis' advancing army, who had also captured Theon's sister Asha (Yara on the show). (In the Winds of Winter preview chapter, Bran communicates with Theon through the tree Stannis has him bound to...)

Since Stannis is 99% likely dead on the show and Yara is not captured, it is possible Theon and Sansa get captured/saved by somebody else - maybe Yara and some Ironmen advancing on Winterfell? Maybe Littlefinger and the Knights of the Vale advancing on Winterfell? Maybe a resurrected Jon Snow leading an army of Wildlings on Winterfell?

As usual, take everything with a grain of salt, although they've been right on more than most...

That being said, here's an interesting tidbit, posted Nov. 15...

The article and the comments are "enlightening" and revealing... Don't click the link if you don't want to be "spoiled"...

Enjoy...
