My kids are coming home from college tonight!

It's been a long enough break that they both sound like they are ready to be home.

I have all kinds of snacks in the kitchen and I stocked up on Yoo Hoos as if they were eight years old.

I'll get to hear about things they did that would have made me lie awake at night had I known about them ahead of time. I already told them not to tell me about their little side trips to god-knows-where with god-knows-whom in somebody's half broken down beater. I was 20 once upon a time.

More than likely I'll have fallen asleep on the couch before either gets here... but for now, I am excited!

One got in and immediately ate pasta. I was nearly asleep when the other got home. He finished off the rest of the pasta!

My kid is not coming home until next month but I will still fill the house up with all of his favorite snacks and make his fave dinners. Can't wait. Happy for you.
