(63,912 posts)Also got a nice Klimt themed large xmas tree ball. Both are for my daughter who I can't buy anything for, unless it is very one of a kind or a specialty from my travels.
I also buy other items for xmas gifts at these art museums and I always look up their gift shop items on the museum website as these are things you can often just order online.
That reminds me to look at some of the great museums gift shops...it's near time to do it...

(34,136 posts)She gets a bunch of free calendars in mailings asking for donations every year so it's sort of a tradition now that she gives away the ones she doesn't use. This year one of the wildlife groups sent me a nice calendar so I already have one to put up on my fridge for next year.

(6,280 posts).... my wife would buy me Far Side calendar every year. They're still in the cellophane wrapping. I'm a huge fan, but I just can't talk myself into opening them. To me, they're works of art and I like the idea of preserving them.
