What a beauteous thing are *dogs* - or, to put it in another way,

* to arrive home to such pleasure!1

* to look and be looked upon with such adoration!1

I'm telling you, there is NO love like this. (Don't even *think* of pitying me!1)

And I can understand being allergic to dogs. But I can't for the life of me understand not liking dogs. How can people not like dogs. What's not to like?

I'm also a cat person, and can't tell you how many people have said to me: I hate cats. Oh, really? Buh-bye, asshole. No discussion.

Who didn't like animals. I give the same advice to my boys. Further, I find people who didn't grow up around animals generally don't like them. There are a few exceptions, though. I know one person who wasn't allowed to have any pets as a child and as soon as she moved away from home she adopted both cats and dogs. Her parents refused to visit and she didn't seem to mind that at all. LOL.

used to curl up in the darkroom with me on his pile of stuff, while I worked away on a noir photography project. I remember listening to tunes, and looking over at him, and he was totally into being there and paying close attention to everything I was doing, and sweet as all hell. He was so much a part of my life. I miss him.

"Chewlaxing". He is still in the teething and aggressive chewing stage of his development, but on our near daily walks, he does take time out to chew on a bone or another item found in the neighborhood.
