Proof that Ridley Scott has had no good ideas in three decades

Ridley Scott Says Prometheus Sequels Will Reveal Who Created Aliens

If there is one way that's absolutely 100% certain to shit on Scott's 1979 masterpiece, this is it. Revealing the aliens' "creators" will be more damaging to the narrative legacy than Alien 4, Prometheus, and any number of shitty AVP movies combined. No good can possibly come from a revelatory prequel.

This is Scott unambiguously declaring creative bankruptcy. He's filling a space that no one should hear screened.

Anything that can generate some "heat" for the franchise is welcome I suppose. Nobody else seems interested in doing anything else with it.
