So what do you do when a rental car company gives you a Mustang Convertible

For a trip between Buffalo and Toledo in November? You crank the heat, drop the top and slowly freeze while grinning like an idiot for 5 hours.

And yes, I am planning on doing exactly the same thing back to Buffalo tomorrow night.

Except it was my '65 Pontiac convertible decades ago one winter in Columbia, SC when I was stationed at Ft. Jackson in the Army.

My husband was stationed there, too. 1967-68, if I remember. I went down to visit a couple of times.
