Petition Launched To Stop Phil Collins From Coming Out Of Retirement

OK....where do I sign?

Well, this is mean.

A petition has actually been launched on change.org to try and stop Phil Collins from coming out of retirement.

Started by Brian Pee of New York, seemingly a mass Phil Collins hater, the petition is simply called: “Phil Collins must be stopped.”

“There is far too much suffering in the world as it is. This must be stopped.”

But, the guy was an amazing drummer for one of the most significant progressive rock bands in the progressive genre ...

This is taking dislike to a whole new level ... Not my kind of thing ...

The hope is that Genesis, the early lineup, with Peter Gabriel, Tony Banks, Mike Rutherford, Steve Hackett, and Phil Collins, will reunite for at least a few shows, and play some classic Genesis music on stage ...

So, let's not kill that idea as we hate on the Phil ..m

I was a radio announcer in the 80s. There was no other performer I detested more. Well, Cyndi Lauper, Madonna, Aha, Sinead O'Connor, .... never mind. There's a reason I moved to the management side of the business (and it wasn't just the crappy pay on the talent side).

His first solo album was quite good. He even did a great cover of Tomorrow Never Knows.

We don't need zombie Phil Collins shambling around on stage with his disabled army of Easy Lovers.

Everywhere Phil Collins WAS going to appear, will now be a triple bill: Justin Bieber, Iggy Azalea and Taylor Swift.

(Skittles, do you need my address?)
