The DU Lounge
Related: Culture Forums, Support ForumsWell, I'm down to giving out fried eggs and packets of herbs,
A little Rosemary never hurt anyone, did it?
(Actually, it's slow on my street, so the ones coming by my house are making out like bandits!)

(1,958 posts)with lots of trick-or-treaters. SIL is annoyed when there are older kids coming to their door (14+). She gives each a single pepperment drop candy (ie. the kind you see at a restaurant cash register). She is generous with the little kids and akways asks them about their costumes.

(149,683 posts)I don't know what I will do with the candy! I can't eat it...........that would ruin my attempts at losing weight.
MrMickeysMom
(20,453 posts)I'll pile it into a big old "fishbowl" and watch it disappear over about 2 weeks! That's how much I have left.
Funny, but this happens often in hospitals and clinics (mine's a clinic).

(149,683 posts)I could take it by where I used to work, even though I don't know the folks working there now...........
Better than breaking my diet!
The Velveteen Ocelot
(115,830 posts)It was a fairly quiet night, even though the weather isn't too bad (about 50 and overcast). So I have candy left over, too. I will eat the Almond Joys and take the rest to a choir rehearsal tomorrow night (I'm retired, too, so no co-workers to dump it on).

And I'm glad we gave all the candy away. I didn't need that temptation sitting on the table.
