I think he was about 17 there. And yeah, can you imagine them in your house? By 1967 the wall paper would have been peeling from the walls due to the volume.

Great find! Such a cool and well video'd clip. You can see that craziness in Moon's drumming and faces...and Townsend's first attempts at windmilling. I liked Daltrey's vocals, too. Obviously, they were pretty new to this whole R&R gig thing and they frankly sound like countless other mod bands at the time, I'm sure...but somehow, these guys found a sound and style that a couple years later would start their insanely great careers.

Even the kids dancing were pretty funny...the whole dance thing was pretty new too and it shows as they try to find some kind of way to dance to the sound. What a great bit of the past to look back and see where the first rough starts of the British Invasion actually started. I was still too young to appreciate this at the time - 11 in 1964 - but I do remember the times and the big cultural changes that would the music would be making a few years later.
