Android users, app question

Ok I just got a new Android phone yesterday and I'm completely new to the platform (and smartphones that can do more than email).

What apps do you recommend? (I'm maxed out on games with 3 versions of Angry Birds and Words With Friends).

Weatherbug - The app from The Weather Channel is large and slow. This is much more efficient.
Comic Reader - For those who don't get a newspaper or their paper doesn't run the comics you like.
Cribbage Pro - quality, free cribbage game
Flixter - The mobile app for Rotten Tomatoes (movie reviews and info)
GasBuddy - find the cheapest gas near you
KeyRing - Useful for keeping all of your discount cards (you know, the ones the stores give you so they can track your shopping habits)
MixZing - better music app than the default one
Pandora - how could you not like having mobile Pandora?
ScoreCenter - ESPN's app for tracking sports scores and news
Solitaire Deluxe - the best free solitaire app I've found
XfinityTV - If you use Comcast as your cable provider, this app allows you to not only see the channel guide, but control your DVR(s) and record shows - even if you're not at home

I have been running around the house scanning stuff like a crazed chimp! But, do keep an eye on the scans, some don't pop-up with the correct information and you have to add size and price.

I also downloaded "sayings" from "Airplane" and Young Fankenstein." That shit makes me laugh.

-- Weather Channel
-- Animal sounds (the kitten drives my puppies wild)
-- Dog Whistle
-- Flixter
-- Amazon price check
-- My Coke Rewards

I hunt for new ones on occasion and am currently looking for a good coupon one that allows me to scan my coupons, not download others.

The coolest feature is you can scan products in with your phone. You can also create to-do lists for other things as well. It isn't just groceries that scan either. I scanned a few magazines and blu-rays.

Seems rather cool!

Would be nice to organize it based on where you need to go (grocery store vs office supplies), but that may be there and I just didn't see it yet.

You can create mutliple shopping lists. I haven't sued it yet, but I have created multiple lists in the "Pantry List" section. I have one called "new" which is where i scan new items, to double check them, then I move them to the correct list. I will eventually have lists like, dairy, meat, bread, backing, and the like.

What I am really looking for and can't find is a coupon program that would allow me to scan my coupons and create a shopping list from that. THAT would be really useful to me. If you hear of one, let me know!

try Fooducate

it scans a barcode and tells you all about the product's real nutritional value and often has links to healthier alternatives and even recipes for making the same thing more cheaply and/or more helathy...

Allows you to scan in those loyalty cards with the camera so you don't have to carry them in your wallet/keychain.

Edit - unsure about the name. May be Keyring not Keycard.
