Never doubt the power of DU positive vibes - update on my pup
So a few weeks ago I posted about my dog Durango who went from normal happy dog to anemic and lethargic in a few days. Turned out his spleen was 4x the size it should be with the vet telling me it could be bad (might need splenectomy or he could have cancer all through his organs and would have to be put to sleep).
Crying and scared, I posted to the Lounge and Pet group. I got lots of love for our big guy and lots of healing vibes, warm thoughts, and prayers.
Well it worked.
His blood count is back up smack in the middle of the normal range and his spleen is almost back to normal. Biopsies showed no signs of cancer. No other bad stuff like an immune disease that would destroy the blood cells.
What was wrong? No fricking clue. The vet and an internal specialist tested every possibility - negative. Checked for trauma, internal blockage, toxins, etc. Negative.
Basically his body quit making blood cells for some reason. And then just started making them again.
He is pretty much back to his goofy self. He goes back in a few weeks to make sure he is still cranking out blood cells. But otherwise
its a mystery.
