how fast do the sun and moon move across the sky. this video shows you

i shot this video of the moon last night to demonstrate the moon moving across the sky. in the 37 seconds of the video the moon moves about 1/3 of a moon diameter. it would take about 2 minutes to move one diameter across the sky. the sun has about the same diameter as the moon when viewed from the earth and moves at the same rate. the camera was mounted on a telescope attached to a tripod to other than some shake from the wind the motion from the earth rotating
