They pretend to be this warm, cuddly company, but they are really just like all the rest.
They treat their workers like crap.
They discriminate against women, especially young women.
They employ all kinds of shady labor practices that skirt OSHA and other labor laws.
I'm completely done with them.
Forever.
(They just fired someone I'm close to, for being on FMLA. I told her to consult a labor lawyer first thing Monday morning. I hope she ends up owning the company, as I've been listening to her horror stories about working there for years. I could go on and on about their shady practices, but I'm so angry right now I can't see straight.)

They have a glowing reputation because they DO treat part-timers well.
It's a good place to work part-time.
But to try and make a career there?
They work you to death and if you are a woman, forget it.
You will see everyone else promoted around you.
You will get glowing verbal praise but slammed on paper.
It's horrible.
I always kept silent for the sake of my loved one, but no more.
People need to know the ugly truth about what Trader Joe's corporate style is really like.
