You lucky person. You lucky, lucky person. Despite hanging out with friends who have darkly comic thoughts, and sharing their jokes and taking part in their various anti-social habits, you're the one who always comes up smelling of roses. People seem to really like you. You can travel the world and make friends wherever you go. You're always the likable, excitable one who can be relied upon to make peace when things turn frosty.
This can lead some people to occasionally accuse you of suffering from a lack of depth, but that's only because they confuse cheerfulness with idiocy. A warm smile (and a well chosen insult) will soon see them on their way, nobody expects that.
And if you feel aggrieved that you did not get your favorite, stop that, it's silly.

(19,839 posts)However, this is a minor issue'tis but a scratch, just a flesh woundand you also inspire fierce loyalty in your friends and admiration from your enemies. Plus, you can do the best silly walks.
Just one thing, don't take up a career in the service industries, particularly hotels. It's just not your forte.

(6,261 posts)You're someone who is driven by peculiar interests and uncommon passions, more than enough to fill both of Arthur "Two Sheds" Jackson's two sheds. You may find yourself reading up on the minutiae of medieval lives one minute and playing the piano in the nude the next. This makes you a dynamic presence among your friends, family and colleagues, but you're also a terrific team player, ready to stand to one side and make other people look good.
You're also someone who tends to react to situations in a very emotional way, and this can be great but also wearing, not least on you. It's not always necessary, in every situation you face on a daily basis, to spill your guts like Mr. Creosote. That just leads to a lot of mess.
A bit unexpected, but then it was Terry Jones who played the role of Ron Obvious, so I suppose it does make a certain amount of sense.
I was expecting Eric Idle (cue: Nobody expects Eric Idle!)

Mr. Creosote: Better....
Waiter: Better?
Mr. Creosote: Better get another bucket 'cause I'm gonna throw up!

(13,869 posts)The good news is none of this matters to you one jot, and you're no patsy. You're not someone that is unduly burdened with a need to please people, and you do enjoy getting on the nerves of anyone you don't like. Consequently, you tend to amp up the oddness when faced with figures of authority, playing the drooling idiot or making silly cartoons behind their backs. Then, you're away plotting another scathing critique of the modern world, leaving them shaking their heads in your wake.

(49,991 posts)While flattering, and not undeserved, this does occasionally leave you high and dry when it comes to asking for help, and you can find yourself in some sticky situations just by getting caught up in your own flights of fancy. Maybe try communicating with people in short, direct bursts, and listening when you're being spoken toeven if it's someone telling you your mother was a hamster and your father smells of elderberriesand you'll be right as rain.
I'll try again tomorrow when I haven't had three glasses of wine.

(46,179 posts)WARNING: some of your craziest friends think you're a bit weird. They love you, they're in total awe of your unique way of looking at things, but they do think you're a bit odd. Maybe it's all the time you've spent obsessively feeding your hobbies and practicing your craft to a high standard. Maybe it's the fact that you tend to giggle when you're serious. Or maybe it's your obsession with old machinery, cogs and pipes and magnifying glasses.
The good news is none of this matters to you one jot, and you're no patsy. You're not someone that is unduly burdened with a need to please people, and you do enjoy getting on the nerves of anyone you don't like.
