Wonder if Trump could fix the sheets issue

Paid too much for silky smooth sheets (made in China) yesterday. Washed them and now they feel like sandpaper.

Startling transformation. What in the world to they put in them that makes them so soft until you wash whatever it is out?

I did and they took them back. It was such an obvious fail. Did some research Laura PourMeADrink Aug 2015 #2

It's sizing that washed out. You might try fabric softener if your going to keep them. Are they 100% cotton? What's the thread count?

best sheets out there - they washed them a bunch to see what happened

Thread count means nothing. And, there are a lot of people out there tricking us (china ?)

#1 sheets out there - pricey (over $200 for total set) - but supposedly worth it - LL BEAN - never on sale

#2 Royal Velvet 500 wrinkle free - on sale at JC Penny for $79 for q

Learned a lot. Percale is "crisp" and Sateen is "smooth"

They've started having washed samples of sheets in some stores. I've seen them at JC Penny's and Bed Bath and Beyond.

Have you tried the microfiber sheets? I'm just so used to 100% cooton, living in Texas' heat and humidity.

No on microfiber.

Tend to try and stay away from anything chemical - sheets - towels - soap - dish washing - cleaning.

you never know what the bastards put in stuff
