the new Mission Impossible

Good action movie with Tom Cruise, Simon Pegg, Ving Rhames, Jeremy Renner and Alec Baldwin. Excellent job by Rebecca Ferguson in the role of Ilsa Faust as well - hopefully, we'll see more of her. The motorcycle chase was harrowing. It seemed she rescued Ethan Hawke more than he rescued her. Also glad that (spoiler alert) there was no romance between Cruise and Ferguson. He's getting a bit old (early 50s?) to be romancing an actress in her early 30s. While there was some chemistry, it ended up with them hugging, not making out and/or in bed together.

I am a huge Simon Pegg fan and I love the scene where he's like "Join IMF. See the world. Through a monitor. In a closet."

I also like Jeremy Renner's testimony before the Senate wgere he keeps saying "I can neither confirm nor deny...".
