We drive on the wrong side and do roundabouts here in Mauritius.

in our area. The have turned out to be tests of intelligence and intuition. No one signals. Everyone guesses what the other guy is going to do and not always correctly. Body shops are making a bundle. Collisions have increased by 32%. The good part is fatal collisions have been greatly reduced.

someone doesn't follow the logic and rules.

The drivers already in the roundabout have the right of way.

Move to the center lane and proceed with care until you ease into the outer lane to make your exit.

Most accidents are usually caused by people staying in the outer-most lane or by not yielding to people already in the roundabout! Or just by going too darned fast.

The most hellish roundabout on earth is at the Arc du Triomphe in Paris. Oh. My. Effing. Gawd. I've done it though, loads of times!!! Even driving huge moving vans, yeeeee hah! It's like 20 lanes of sheer mayhem, yet, there are rarely accidents! The drivers just try to behave and yield the right of way to those on the right, for the most part.

The trick is to go to the inside immediately and then work your way to the outside

visiting with a friend to celebrate our graduation.

It was 3 lanes across during rush hour, which meant 3 lanes of bumper-to-bumper at ~50 mph with multiple spots to exit all they way around.

If you were in the outside lane at the wrong moment you would get swept out the wrong exit. If you weren't in the outside lane at the exact right moment, you would miss your exit and do it all over.

We drove around it 3 times, screaming the entire way, before my navigating friend got driving me into the outside exit just-in-time by a hair.

Other than that, meh.
