Question on what I should do- job?

about two weeks I answered an ad in the Newspaper about a job. I go to the interview and ends up being Adecco. Basically it is a employment playing service. They said I am THEIR employee took all the W-2 info and everything one would expect to be taken when one gets hired.

Problem is I haven't heard from them about any jobs. Is it rude of me to call or e-mail them and ask what is going on or should I wait?

1. You should call and/or email. Don't hold your breath. I used to help source candidates for Adecco.

You will likely not hear from them until they have an assignment that you are qualified for.

Good luck.

to work. I also have been worried if I find another job am I in trouble? I am worried about the results of my test because my computer was not allowing me to answer them like I wanted too.

3. Adecco is primarily a temp service. They build a file of potential employees for their client list.

They rarely follow-up with candidates unless they have an opportunity to place them. You should pursue all available opportunities and not rely on any specific agency or placement firm. Your best chance is to contact organizations that employee individuals with your specific skills, experience, and work history. There are several excellent books that provide job search guidance. I believe one is titled Job Search for Dummies.

All the best.

5. Unless they have a guaranteed number of hours/week clause, there's no issue with getting other work.

They haven't communicated with you, so no need to communicate with them. If they call on a day you're free, take their job, otherwise go with whatever becomes available each day and from whatever source. That's how substitute teachers deal with it. They can't forbid you to work elsewhere.

they had me do online because my computer had something wrong with it. A bug so I don't think it was a good showing.

Thanks for the info.
