with his "Feed Me Now" meow, which is very distinctive and not at all like his more conversational meow.

She'll come up to me, meowing and purring. She doesn't stop until i move or I pick her up. She's an attention whore.

Lost him last summer (he was 16). I miss him, too.

I miss giving him belly rubs which he always plopped over for.

one like that. I am technically a "dog" person but I can't resist a friendly kitty.

And they don't jump and slobber on me, which is a plus.

My kitties greet me at the door, rolling around and nudging each other. Even if I've only been gone an hour. Home sweet home!

btw, I've noticed your name before too, and thought it pretty snazzy. Cat people seem to have a clever sense of humor

like a dog. "OMG! You're home! I've missed you!" The other two come sauntering along when they hear me feeding the first one. They're more like, "Hey. 'Sup? Got anything to eat?"

Then start rubbing himself against your legs and when you bent down to put him head head butt your hands and arms. Was even friendly to the neighbors or others.

Don't know how he was like that, we never raised him special or anything, but I can't believe the contrast with cats of other friends: When we visit, they'll hide somewhere till we're gone.

We go through a whole ritual, me 'n my three cats. One strides to the door: "I want out. See 'ya." (But she's back in two minutes.)

The two indoorsies meet me and get a hug or a head stroking. Sometimes food, if it's the right time of day.

I agree: a house is not a home without a cat or two or three or four or...

It would be an empty house and an empty feeling without these kitty-babies.

When Bob was alive, and they were outside, they recognized the car, and would come running to the garage. How did they know what car I drive? I can't tell makes and models one from another.
