Charlotte likes to lick and chew on my hand and arm, right after I take a shower.

1. My old cat, Py, would lick my feet.

It was disturbing and I'd dance around in the bathroom trying to get away from him. But, he'd throw his arms around my ankle and go crazy.

Ralph will give me a couple of licks on the chin and a soft bite. No showered arm action here.

3. Lilith licks my arms and hands

and cat-Mandu nips at anyone who pets him on his back or belly. He especially hates having his belly rubbed

A friend told me long ago that the "big" cats (lions tigers etc) lick their prey with their sand paper tongue to remove hair etc before eating it

BTW that friend was oneighty--I am sure you old timers remember him!

4. Sometimes The Fluff will spend 10 minutes licking the back of one of my hand

5. One of my kitties does that and one time

he kept licking the same spot on the back of my hand over and over. It was like sandpaper. It wasn't until a little later I realized he'd given me a weeping raw wound.

10. one of my cats did

and seemed to think it was her job to dry me off.
She was a cat that was really tuned into me - she used to put her chin on my head and purr when I couldn't get to sleep. It works!

a little worried that I am covered with water. Perhaps you cat is just trying to assess that you are still there and that the evil water did not change you or your nature.
