Polar bear kicks back in the sunset after a hard day's hunting

Relaxing on an ice cap at sunset, a polar bear displays some remarkably human characteristics while surveying his scenic surroundings.

Laid out on his back, supported by a raised piece of ice, the large male stretches out his legs and dips his front paws into the snow.

The stunning images were taken by professional wildlife photographer Don Johnston, 61, at Seal River Heritage Lodge, in Manitoba, Canada.

From my understanding of evolution, humans evolved from a sort of bear-like creature.
