GTA 5 Online Cheating Punished With Exploding Cars
Recently, Grand Theft Auto V players discovered an exploit that allowed them to bring some of the game's single-player-only cars into the game's online mode, but Rockstar has put an explosive end to this practice.
As first discovered by Reddit, Rockstar recently patched the game to make the Duke O'Death vehicle explode as soon as you get into it. The armored muscle car is an overpowered vehicle from the game's story mode, but you can only drive it in the online mode by taking advantage of the exploit.
As you can see in the video above uploaded to YouTube by xKoingWolfx, it's a satisfying method to deal with cheaters.
It'll be interesting to see if players discover a whole new set of exploits once the game hits PC on April 14. If you're looking forward to that version, you can pre-load GTA V on PC starting April 7.

I only played a few hours online before today. The article, which I read earlier made me interesting. I think within the first 15 minutes some tank on 4 wheels shoots me down, then a little later someone shoots me down in an up-armored Lamborghinii. A lot of the missions, to build levels have it task where you're supposed to protect your teammate but I swear most people seem to be trying to run me over when I get to the guy's apartment before they do. They certainly ram me off the road on the way over there.
One of those heist missions I actually passed one on one of the first few tries, I bad move the run from the cops to the roof. I figured they couldn't see me up there until the helicopter showed up but I managed to get away from that with cop-after-cop coming up the ladders. I didn't know what I was supposed to do, after it I'm sitting on the couch watching TV. I'm hitting the "stand up" button so many times I think I quit it was more of heist setup than a heist. As soon as walk out the door someone is right behind to take me out & my $15,000 which was the cut my character made from it.
GTA 5 online world is insane. I have a $5000 bounty on my head, I got a notice from "unknown" before the bounty text saying I stole his car. I didn't know it was online player's car, I can't tell which is which unless they have that PSN over their cars or they're on the radar.
