You have to remember to switch it off every time. It's an obnoxious thing that I've come to expect from Google. Seriously, how hard would it have been to just have it default to off? The reaction to this has been overwhelmingly negative, but as usual, like the other corporate giants (see Microsoft esp.) they prefer to force their changes on the user, like it or not, because they can.

Gahh, sorry, I'm also pissed at Spotify at the moment, which has some of the worst response to customer dissatisfaction I have ever seen, except for maybe Electronic Arts.
