Our local high school basketball team is in the final four in the state.

There are two games today to determine who plays for the state championship. The first game is underway. Our team plays in the second game. My wife is there in Seymour, Indiana with her folks. They love high school basketball as do many people here in Indiana. I'm not as big of a fan, and I had to work today, so I'm here at home. I'll be downing some brewskies and listening to the game on the radio. Richmond and Evansville at 3PM eastern. The guys who call the high school game for us sound better than some of the guys calling college and pro games. People here love their high school teams even more than our college teams and the Pacers.

Seems like a lot of pressure on the kids, but they appear to handle it well. They are local superstars.

Our boys are behind 12-6 in the first quarter at this point. I had a dream last night about this game and Richmond was struggling with their offense in it. I hope they can make an adjustment and get the baskets to go for them.

Richmond needs to find a way to break that defense.

Our offensive output was pretty good, but we just couldn't hang with them.

Those kids gave everything they had out there today, and I'm proud of them. They had a great season. The best one in over 20 years in these parts. Go Red Devils!
