I thought Ben did it after the first episode. Now I am not so sure.

Is there a possibility that it was an accident? I don't think that, but I wonder if anyone else does.

I think that's why the flashlight is missing.

BUT....I never finished watching it, so I'm not sure....

Why would Ben's little girl put that flashlight back into his truck? I did have her on my suspect list until the bloody flashlight reappeared...maybe as an accidental fit of childish rage or something, since the boy was in their home so often, but she knows that her daddy is now on the town's shit list, so if she is guilty, I'd guess she'd try and hide that flashlight somewhere far away from their house, not right back in Ben's truck.

I have a sad feeling this is leading toward the kid who plays the son of Melissa Gilbert...Daly is their last name, he's the big boy with a developmental disability . He may have been overly-friendly with little Tom, something innocent yet questionable, so his mom freaked and murdered the little boy. She'd have good reason to throw the investigation off her family's trail, by planting the "deadly weapon" in Ben Garner's work truck.

Did anyone else notice that the on/off button for that flashlight looked odd, like it was missing a piece? I'll bet that's how the mystery will be solved...a thumbprint on that missing piece. Or they'll find it under the refrigerator in the kitchen of the little house on the prairie.
