the pic was taken with a dumb phone on a different provider three computers ago. i never thought i'd get it back, but the husband is one smart emeffer and was able to retrieve it for me.
this was the day we moved into our current place in july 2012. the husband, my bff and i were ready to head out to eat but we couldn't find the fat cat. yeah, we were all aware that cats can open portals to other dimensions, but fat cat had a history of breaking out and disappearing around moving time, so we had cause for concern. we finally started pulling out drawers when we'd searched everywhere we could think to and, sure as shit, there she was.
i sure do miss my girl.

a gratuitous kitty pic. Thank your for sharing this pic of your sweetie. It's very hard to lose them, I've been there.

of my kitty who has now crossed the bridge. She liked to sleep in the upstairs linen closet, on top of the towels. I once found her in a kitchen cupboard, sleeping in a mixing bowl.

I used to have a bottom drawer cat as well. I know you miss your sweet baby.

and those folded dimensions that string theory predicts. Portals, too.
Just how they are able to suspend normal laws of physics and vanish into them may provide some underpinning for warp drive if the mechanisms are ever discovered and explained.
