I have played with 6 or 7 different drummers, all beer moochers. All weird. Two smart, two crazy (they overlap), two went to jail, and one was fabulous and could play anything. Me, I'm a mediocre rhythm player. Now I'll go read the article, maybe. Quit looking at my beer cooler!

got arrested for DUI driving a backhoe down the road about midnight, trying to get to the beer store before they closed, with two other guys riding with him, lights on bright, drinking. He went away to the Cochise County facilities.

He actually could have replaced Keith Moon in the Who, he was THAT good in a similar but original style. Totally incompetent as a human being, and a serious hard doper to boot. But when he was straight and behind a kit, playing bass with him was a delight.
