Quit yer bitchin'

Saturday I had to go have a tire fixed on my car. Because yet another screw got away from my husband in his garage workshop and ended up in my tire.... again. More than 45 years of marriage and his dang screws and bolts and who knows what else all over the place.......

Assorted fussing ensued.... well, fussing is the nice way to put it.

On Sunday I took him to the emergency room because he was acting drunk but he doesn't drink. It was a stroke. He might come out of it with only mild impairment. Too soon to know.

I won't be bitching about stupid stuff any time soon. There might come a day when I'd give anything to have one of his god dammed screws in my car tire just one more time.....

medical attention and got him to the ER.
Yes, it's too soon to know how or if there will be a long-term effect.
It takes a little while for swelling to go down or clot to dissolve

This happened to my hubby, too, about 18 years ago.
It was a small stroke in his brainstem.
He was not paralyzed, but his speech and gait were affected at the time.
These improved, but there were long-term, undefinable effects.

May all be well for your husband and for you.
