February 14?

Maybe a Valentines Day misunderstanding?

(alcohol may have been involved)

That is the best use I could think of for it, because eating it is out of the question.

I don't have any major negative feelings towards the Ilitch family.

It's just that I've had more than a few "Hot & Nastys" in my day, when we had to feed 3 or 4 people as cheaply as possible.

But as I have gotten older, and my friends have achieved financial independence, I have decided that I have enough of a spare tire to quit eating Little Caesars and stick to the occasional slice or two of Jet's while on the road.

my daughter took me there and, they now drizzle your pizza with high fructose corn syrup before putting it in the oven. when i asked why the pizza was sweet, the girl cleaning tables said it's a new thing and that everyone like it.... gag

someone used to drive down one of the central streets in town and the passenger in the car would actually throw a pie at someone walking on the sidewalk, and then yell: DRIVE BY PIE!!

it was reported in the newspaper and made the police reports as well.

i thought it was absolutely HYSTERICAL!

i mean, really, how fucking crazy/stupid is that?

Were they ever caught?

For some reason, this reminded me of the enema bandit. When that was going on, I had a coworker who thought it was hysterical. Every time he struck again, she would laugh about it all day.

I did not find the enema bandit all that amusing. I like the pie guy better.

i can't really remember--i don't think they were caught. i remember the description of the car made the police blotter or police beat notes or whatever it was called. i think the witnesses said they looked like they were in high school.

i just thought what they yelled out was so stupid/funny.

although they could easily have driven their SUV in from Hillsborough for a night of pizza-tossing debauchery.
