My Amnesty International postcards to the Canadian government must have worked.

Chuggo is a free man once again!

But really, a lot of people at TRH Bar that night didn't fit in, and that's one of the beauties of Chuggo: he brings people together. Whether you're lame or hip, whether your get around on a skateboard or the metro, you can put your fists in the air and shout "C'mon fuckin' guy!" The crowd was speckled with hipsters, hip-hop heads, musicians, festival promoters, journalists, and just about anyone else you can find on lower St. Laurent at night. It was like Chuggo's family reunion.

A few songs in, Chuggo informed the audience that he was going to dump tequila on our faces. This sounded like it would either burn or be amazing, and turns out it was both. Montreal rapper Loe Pesci took over the mic while Chuggo pulled out bottles of tequila and poured them into the mouths of anyone who was willing, which was most people, since free booze from Chuggo is almost certainly enchanted.
