Just so you know - Democratic Underground started the Olive Garden meme

That review would not have been funny if we DUers weren't such food snobs and mocked someone for dining at the Olive Garden on Times Square in NYC.

Had that never happen Marilyn Hagerty's column would not have gone viral and the Olive Garden of Grand Forks, ND probaly would not have been considered "the largest and most beautiful restaurant now operating in Grand Forks".

The difference is not a mere twenty thousand people.

And I did a quick search -- there are at least 10 Olive Gardens within 50 miles of Wilmington.

Don't go blaming the appeal of Olive Garden in Baltimore or Philadelphia on fricking Wilmington Delaware!

Though I'm sure Wilmington is pure.

Another Olive Garden down in Delaware--there's one for every 830 square miles in the state. Compare that to North Dakota, where there is less than one every 17000 square miles.

That's about the only reason I would consent to eating there

But man (or woman) cannot live on bread alone!

It was delicious, and I do not regret the meal.

Yum.

I also love vanilla ice-cream, Phil Collins, Maxwell House coffee, Levi's Dockers, McDonald's fries, four-door sedans, and quiet nights at home.

I am a true man of excitement.
