woke up too early for a sunday!

damn. been up since 7:30

not my fault. "someone" (and i won't say who) was scratching at the door to go out just because she thought it was too freakin cold to pee outside last night.

so i've been mulling about for two hours--wondering if i could get back to sleep, mentally making my list of things to do today, trying to figure out what i can cross off the list, trying to decide on what to eat for breakfast. drinking coffee (so i guess going back to bed is out of the question at this point), and trying to plan ahead for a nap later today.

there's orange juice
there's bacon left over from last night's dinner of bacon/avacado/tomato sandwich
there are eggs
there's cream cheese; onion & chives--i could put that on something
there's port wine cheese which always tastes good on buttered toast

yawn.

1. I wish I'd managed to sleep until 7:30

I woke up at 3am again. I managed to fall back to sleep at around 8am, with Cody my cockatoo screaming for breakfast and Jake and Luna periodically sticking their noses in my face to see if I was awake yet. I had a nightmare that a tornado was headed directly for us and I was running around trying to get us to safety.

Now it's noontime and all I want to do is

I woke up early, went back to bed, got up in time to leave for church, and had to leave early because my Mom needed the car.

I'm probably going to watch TV, read, and go to sleep.

3. i got up at 930

reasonable for most people, a bit early for me, but nature was calling and i decided against going back to bed. you could scramble the eggs with the onion and chives and make a bacon and egg sandwich (which is what i would do if i ate eggs).

i have to do some dishes and laundry today. i think i'll do pasta with red sauce for dinner tonight.
