Suddenly it all becomes clear to me.
After three eye surgeries over two years, after trying contact lenses and various glasses prescriptions that fell short, after gallons of various eye drops that both raised and lowered the pressure inside my eyes or made my vision hazy for hours at a time, after fighting to see through all the floaters and garbage swimming inside my eyes, after waiting patiently all this time for my eyes to stabilize, the doctors finally got it right.
Yesterday morning I picked up my new eyeglasses, and suddenly it all came back into focus for the first time since the cataracts tried so hard to steal my sight from me.
I can see clearly again.
Finally.
Now if only I can get my feet and knees fixed so I can get out of this wheelchair...
