2. We adopted a German Shep /Aussie or Border Collie mix-ish a few years ago (or 3rd rescue)...

Her first night here, I took a few pix and she looked so sad.
I took pictures a day or so later, and she had a HUGE smile—in fact, people were commenting when we walked her about how big her smile was. One guy said, "That looks like the happiest dog in the world!"

We have always taken our dogs EVERYWHERE with us: dining out (with walks afterwards), vacations, family gatherings, long walks at the beach, etc, etc

They ARE the best!

Adopted or rescued pets refers to a specific type of action that save animals.
Unlike people who buy a dog from a store, enabling breeding mills that create dangerous and unsafe conditions for animals.

7. The dog we just adopted was a shelter dog

8. I wish I had thought to take pictures this way when I rescued my doggie 6 years ago

she was immediately different as soon as we got her home.
