Related: Culture Forums, Support ForumsNEW FOOD PHOTOS: Desserts & Drinks from yesterday's photoshoot at client's restaurant
I completed this Website a couple of months ago, but at the time, they didn;t have their desserts available and wanted them on the Website. I told them I'd come back. That happened yesterday:
#1: Flan
#2: Cheesecake
#3: Chavela (Beer and the juice of half a lime in an ice-cold, salt-rimmed pint glass). (NOTE: I've seen recipes for this drink which include tomato juice, but my client clearly leaves it out):
#4: Michelada (beer, lime juice, tomato juice and assorted spices, served in a chilled, salt-rimmed glass) w/ Chips & Salsa

These look wonderful. Very classy set-up. The colors and angles are perfect.
Nicely done!
They almost look too good to consume...
Congrats!

Now, if I could just get some vibes for this lousy chest cold...
I really appreciate the flow of vibes!

(12,272 posts)The contrast of the white dessert plates with chocolate drizzle, on the dark table top works beautifully. And the beer looks so inviting, now I want a Michelada with chips with salsa

(6,581 posts)... yesterday on the Cooking and Baking forum, I'd say, "yum."
WTF? I think it said one of the pluses is that there is a plentiful supply?

(22,308 posts)The flan is something I have served (decades ago) and we called it a "creme carmel" It is a variation on a creme brule' because you pour carmelized sugar into the the bottom of the cup you cook the flan in before the flan batter itself.
I hate to say it but the cheesecake looks like the Sara Lee frozen pre-portioned product. The salsa looks like it is right out of an El Paso 1 gallon bottle too.
Still makes me hungry though.

(30,885 posts)On virtually every Mexican Restaurant review on Yelp, someone makes the claim that the salsa is "straight out of a can/bottle" so I always ask. They make their own salsa.

(30,885 posts)...sometimes I do, sometimes I don't. Yesterday was one of those "warpping up loose ends" days and I really wanted to get in and out fast.
Thanks for the kind words!

(30,885 posts)I have to wonder about anyone who thinks that the one thing their beer is missing is some "clam."
Thanks MFM.
