So I am sitting here with one of my cousin's cremated ashes I picked up.today.

I wasn't that close to this cousin but I have them here sitting on the table.

He is in a nice container.

All 64 years of life in one box.

Just makes one think.

Enjoy you life while you are hear.

sometimes it doesn't matter how close we are -- just the fact that a person was a part of our life and will no longer be there in that capacity is difficult. and picking up someone's ashes is hardly something we do everyday so that can be emotional as well.

He was ill so it was no big surprise.

It is something to be handed some ones last remains.

We were close when we were kids.

I am keeping him until after Super Bowl.

He was a big fan.

I will watch the game with him.

Have a few beers.
.

I am honored he would have picked me.

when you said you weren't that close the first thing i imagined was that you might have been when you were both little.

it is an honor. and again, my condolences.
