I wasn't that close to this cousin but I have them here sitting on the table.
He is in a nice container.
All 64 years of life in one box.
Just makes one think.

(34,075 posts)sometimes it doesn't matter how close we are -- just the fact that a person was a part of our life and will no longer be there in that capacity is difficult. and picking up someone's ashes is hardly something we do everyday so that can be emotional as well.

It is something to be handed some ones last remains.
We were close when we were kids.
I am keeping him until after Super Bowl.
He was a big fan.
I will watch the game with him.
Have a few beers.
