Epic Epitaph

Epitaph of John Laird McCafferty (1940-1995) in Montreal’s Mt. Royal Cemetery:
(Read the first letter of each line. Composed by his wife and mistress.)

John,

Free Your Body and Soul
Unfold Your Powerful Wings
Climb Up the Highest Mountain
Kick Your Feet Up in the Air
You May Now Live Forever
Or Return to This Earth
Unless You Feel Good Where You Are

It was on a tombstone that looked like it dated from the 18th century:

To those of you who pass me by
Remember you are born to die
As I am now, so must you be
Prepared in death to follow me.

with several humorous epitaphs. (incidently, the daily paper is called the Tombstone Epitaph)
One I remember:
"Les Moore
Four slugs from a 44
No less, no more"
