Whew!1 a bad TECH day!1 Did I have a couple of hackers on the line?!1 Maybe not.
Error: Logon no workee; profile server no workee; profile no-no.
Tech support to HP: One time debit. One hour with dudes "X" and "Y" in chit-chat form. Lots of scans, thousand Deleted files.
Finally they told me on Restart I log in to "My Account." Then they were gone. Am I "Admin" or "My Dog"?!1 I chose "Dog". Didn't work.
I called back. CHAOS ensued. Some dude said there was NO record of Debit-billing OR one-hour's "work" done." I went into scream mode. He went into Repeating the SAME PHRASES. Did not end well.
His "supervisor" called. Said (multiple times) I should call my bank (this is MLK Day, remember?).
Went down to the wire. Night fell, I called back. Some other Tech and I got off on the "wrong foot" shall I say. He said I interrupted. HAH. Anyway, he fixed it (lucky YOU/Lounge/DU). Well he did a Restore (not a normal Restore). I'm here, ain't I?
The dude said he was sorry we got off on the wrong foot but now are kewl.
There were other (bad) parts to this day, but I'll leave it at that, glad to be home/DU/Lounge.
