Anyone ever try Kratom?

I've been told it is, depending on the type, very euphoric and a good painkiller. How much do you take? How do you take it?

My buddy puts it in his coffee. It's legal (available on line) and safe, or so I've been told.
Green kratom is the stimulant, red is the pain killer. I just wonder about dosage, prices etc.
