admire a good comeback - so sure, I'm certain they can do it!

He just couldn't throw it downfield for more than a few yards. We may have seen the last game of an all-time great.

The guy just chokes when it matters. Although I wish they would make it to the superbowl, would love to watch him cry after the Seahawks hand him another superbowl almost.

Or five years ago he would have staged a dramatic comeback

I seriously think we've probably seen the last game he will ever play

Kind of sad in a way. I really enjoyed hating the guy. But now I feel kind if sorry for him

He was definitely a shell of his former self.

Although he has choked in the playoffs before.

earlier where postgame he was asked about coming back for the next season.

Even without hearing his voice, I could imagine him sounding beaten, almost. Ambivalent. From where I sit, I could say all I wanted, "Oh, I would just retire". But then, I don't love playing football, either.

It must be torture for the guys who love playing the game to have to decide yes or no on that question.

I think Manning and Brady will go into football history as two of the greatest QBs ever.

Seeing the inevitable passing of the torch is sad.

But damn...it was a fun ride while it lasted, wasn't it?

How many passes over 10 yards did he even throw? Just look at the 2min drill. All short passes and straight up the middle. He completely gave up.

It was not the Peyton Manning I thought would show up. Guess he just can't sling it like he used to. He wasn't even close on some of those deep tries.

He should have been replaced by backup, but who replaces Manning?
